Retention of Railway Accommodation for Officers on Deputation to DFCCIL Extended till June 2026
The Ministry of Railways has issued RBE No. 110/2025, dated 23 October 2025, granting an extension for Railway officers and staff deputed to Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) to retain their Railway accommodation at their previous place of posting up to 30 June 2026.
This decision brings relief to many Railway personnel currently serving on deputation with DFCCIL, ensuring housing stability and ease of service during their deputation period.
🔹 Background: Previous Extension up to June 2025
Earlier, through a Railway Board letter dated 10 May 2024, officers and staff on deputation to DFCCIL were allowed to retain their allotted Railway quarters till 30 June 2025.
Now, considering DFCCIL’s request and keeping public interest in view, the Railway Board has approved a further one-year extension for retaining accommodation — i.e., from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
