The Chairperson of NHRC, in consultation with the Central Government, may relax any provisions of these rules for a class or category of persons.


Reservation and Relaxation Benefits

Nothing in the NHRC Rules 2025 affects reservation or age relaxations granted to:

  • SC / ST
  • OBC
  • Ex-servicemen
  • Other eligible categories

All existing Central Government orders remain applicable.
